'American Idol': Micah Johnson overcomes speech impediment to wow the judges

Much like last week with Lazaro Arbos, an auditioner afflicted with a terrible stutter but who sings like a bird, this week on "American Idol" we met Micah Johnson. Johnson sustained nerve damage when he had his tonsils out and now has a speech impediment.

But Johnson opened his mouth and a beautiful song came out on Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried." The judges loved it. Randy called it one of the best fake-outs ever on the show.

Nicki MInaj says, "As soon as you start singing you transform into a beautiful voice." and Mariah Carey adds, "It was your spirit, it was you there. I was moved by your story, but even if you didn't have the story, I would've been moved by your voice."
