Adam Levine hosting 'Saturday Night Live' Jan. 26 with musical guest Kendrick Lamar

adam-levine-ahs-getty.jpgMaroon 5 frontman and "The Voice" coach Adam Levine is set for his first-ever "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig on Jan. 26. Acclaimed hip-hop star Kendrick Lamar will serve as musical guest the same week.

Levine has been on a pop culture roll lately -- guest starring in "American Horror Story: Asylum" and co-starring in the upcoming film "Can a Song Save Your Life?"

Maroon 5 has served as "SNL" musical guest four times, most recently in the Nov. 17, 2012 installment hosted by Jeremy Renner. Levine also appeared opposite Renner in a short film that aired during the episode.

Now Levine will really get to show off his comedy chops. Do you think he can top the impressive hosting debut of chart-topping singer Bruno Mars earlier this season?
