Wyatt Cenac has officially left 'The Daily Show'

"The Daily Show" has lost one of its correspondents. Wyatt Cenac, who has been with the comedy show since 2008, had his last appearance on the series on Dec. 13.

"Jon and the staff wish him the best in his future endeavors," a spokesperson for Comedy Central says in a statement.

Hopefully he'll still find a way to come back and host one of his "Rapper or Republican" segments at some point, though. Cenac will likely join the long line of other "Daily Show" correspondents who moved on to bigger and better things, like Steve Carell, Rob Corddry and Ed Helms.

Vulture initially broke the news last month. There are six remaining correspondents on the show: John Oliver, Jessica Williams, Samantha Bee, Jason Jones, Aasif Mandavi and Al Madrigal.
