TV ratings: 'NCIS' and 'The Voice' lead Tuesday and 'Parenthood' matches a season high

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012

The usual suspects -- "NCIS" and "The Voice" -- led the way in Tuesday's ratings, giving their respective networks victories in total viewers (CBS) and adults 18-49 (NBC).

NBC also got a little boost from the last "Parenthood" of 2012, which matched its season high in adults 18-49, and night two of "Take It All," which was up a tick over Monday's premiere. "The Mindy Project" was also up slightly for FOX, but "Hart of Dixie" slipped a little in viewers on The CW.

CBS scored a runaway win in viewers, averaging 14.25 million along with a 9.1 rating/14 share in households for the night. NBC (8.1 million, 5.1/8) was the best of the rest. ABC came in third with 4.1 million viewers and a 2.5/4. FOX (3.4 million, 2.1/3) took fourth, and The CW trailed with 1.25 million viewers and a 0.8/1.

NBC posted a 2.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic to lead the way. CBS finished second at 2.3. FOX, 1.5, was third, followed by ABC, 1.3, and The CW, 0.5.
