'The O.C.'s' Adam Brody heads to 'House of Lies' on Showtime

adam-brody-gq.jpgIt's a Chrismukkah miracle!

"The O.C." star Adam Brody is making his triumphant return to live-action television with a guest starring appearance on Showtime's dark comedy "House of Lies," where he'll play a love interest of Kristen Bell's character, Jeannie Van Der Hooven.

Don't go in expecting a Seth Cohen revival, though. Brody's character is the owner of a sex toy company. Sandy and Kirsten would be floored, honestly.

Bell and Brody are also set to star in the upcoming film "Some Girls," in which Brody plays a man trying to make amends with his ex-girlfriends on the eve of his wedding, and Bell plays one of the scorned lovers.

Since his iconic run on "The O.C.," Brody hasn't done any live-action television. He did, however, voice a character on MTV's short-lived animated series, "Good Vibes."

"House of Lies" returns to Showtime on Sunday, January 13th at 10 p.m. EST.
