Pre-empted 'Family Guy' and 'Haven' episodes get new airdates

haven-rescheduled-syfy.jpgEpisodes of "Family Guy" and "Haven" that were pulled from airing following the Newtown, Conn., school shootings have been rescheduled.

The "Family Guy" episode "Jesus, Mary and Joseph!," in which Peter tells his version of the nativity story, had been scheduled to air last Sunday (Dec. 16). It and an "American Dad" episode called "Minstrel Krampus" were both pulled following Friday's shootings.

"American Dad" hasn't been rescheduled yet, but FOX says the "Family Guy" episode will air in its regular timeslot on Sunday, Dec. 23.

Syfy pulled Friday's "Haven" because it contains scenes of violence at a high school. The cable channel has moved the episode, and the season finale originally scheduled for Dec. 21, to Thursday, Jan. 17, in order to "maintain the integrity of the series' serialized nature."
