'Modern Family' stages a 'Married ... with Children' reunion, sort of

A member of Ed O'Neill's former TV family will join his "Modern Family" later this season.

David Faustino, who played Al Bundy's (O'Neill) son Bud on "Married ... with Children," will guest-star on an episode of the ABC comedy later in the season, EW reports. Grievously, though, Faustino and O'Neill won't have any scenes together.

He'll be playing a college classmate of Claire's (Julie Bowen) who has gone on to become very successful. The two meet up at their class reunion, and we're guessing Claire is a bit taken aback by where Faustino's character has ended up in life.

Faustino has worked steadily since the end of "Married ... with Children" in 1997, doing a mix of small movies, TV guest appearances and voice work. He currently voices Mako on "The Legend of Korra."
