'Community' video: Joel McHale gives us a sneak peek at the season 4 premiere

Everybody's "good friend" (or not) Joel McHale has a holiday present for all fans of "Community"! Well in advance of the show's Feb. 7 season 4 premiere, McHale has presented the world with a single scene from that episode.

This never-before-seen clip from what appears to be a holiday episode shows the gang visiting with Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) and receiving gifts. Sort of gifts anyway -- not everyone is likely to be happy about getting a new kitten for Christmas.

It's an interesting crowd we see in this scene (which unfortunately lasts for less than 30 seconds). Pierce (Chevy Chase) is not visible, but Chang (Ken Jeong) is right in the middle of things, ready to pant like a dog for his kitten's ("A dog!") amusement. Is he missing Christmas? Is this some sort of a commentary on Chevy Chase leaving the show? Or is he just on the other side of the couch?

Also, because it's awesome, there are two kittens named Jeffrey. Naturally.

"Community" season 4 premieres on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 (as McHale notes, it's good to include the year) at 8pm on NBC.
