Ratings were up pretty much across the board Wednesday, with the majority of East Coast residents who lost power in Hurricane Sandy now back on the grid. The lone exception was FOX, which saw "The X Factor" dip slightly in viewers (it was flat in adults 18-49) against a special Wednesday airing of "The Voice" on NBC.

"The Voice" also helped "Chicago Fire" score its biggest audience to date. "Modern Family," "Criminal Minds" and "Arrow" were all up as well, and "Nashville" ticked up in viewers and the 18-49 demographic.

CBS averaged 10.9 million viewers and a 7.0 rating/11 share in households to lead the overall race. NBC (9.3 million, 5.7/9) came in second, beating the 8 million viewers and 5.0/8 for ABC. FOX (7 million, 4.1/6) came in fourth, and The CW (3 million, 1.8/3) trailed.

NBC won the adults 18-49 demographic with a 3.2 rating. The rest of the big four were tightly bunched, with ABC (2.8) edging CBS (2.7) and FOX (2.6) for second. The CW earned a 1.1.
