TV ratings: 'Malibu Country' dips but stays solid Friday while 'Undercover Boss' rises

Fast National ratings for Friday, Nov. 9, 2012

ABC's comedy duo of "Last Man Standing" and "Malibu Country" came back to Earth some Friday after their strong premieres last week, but both shows still turned in decent numbers.

CBS, meanwhile, got a big boost from week two of "Undercover Boss," which gained more than a million viewers and half a point among adults 18-49. "Grimm" and "Shark Tank" both did fairly well too, but The CW's "Nikita" struggled some more, dipping below a million viewers.

CBS led Friday's overall race with just under 10 million viewers and a 6.5 rating/11 share in households. ABC (6.3 million, 4.0/7) came in second. NBC took third with 4.1 million viewers and a 2.6/5, beating out FOX (3 million, 1.9/3). The CW trailed with about 1.2 million viewers and a 0.8/1.

ABC scored the top spot in the 18-49 demographic with a 1.8 rating. CBS finished second with a 1.6, and NBC (1.2) edged FOX (1.1) for third. The CW posted a 0.4.
