'The Voice' Season 3 finale will lead-in to '1600 Penn' preview on NBC

NBC has scheduled the two-night season finale of "The Voice" for Dec. 17 and 18 and special "preview" airing of new comedy "1600 Penn" for Dec. 17.

A 90-minute performance episode of "The Voice" will air at 8 p.m., leading in to "1600 Penn" at 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 17. "The Voice" returns the following night for the two-hour final results show at 9 p.m.

"1600 Penn" -- a dysfunctional family comedy set in the White House -- stars Bill Pullman, Jenna Elfman and Josh Gad and officially premieres Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, in its regular 9:30 p.m. timeslot.
