'The Good Wife': Matthew Perry is back for another round

Matthew Perry has a steady job on NBC's first-year comedy "Go On," but he's making time to return to a former gig as well.

Perry will reprise his role as lawyer Mike Kresteva on "The Good Wife" later this season, CBS says. He was seen briefly in the season premiere -- in a campaign ad -- and his return will deal more with his campaign for governor against Peter Florrick (Chris Noth).

The ad viewers glimpsed in the premiere was apparently just the tip of the iceberg. CBS says Kresteva has "taken out a series of attack ads" against Peter.

There's no date set for Perry's "Good Wife" episode, but the network says it will air early next year. "Go On," meanwhile, returns to NBC Tuesday (Nov. 13) after two weeks off.
