Taylor Swift books 'X Factor,' New Year's Eve gigs

Taylor Swift will continue her dominance of pop culture into the new year.

The country superstar has booked a pair of TV performances for the coming weeks. She'll first appear on "The X Factor" on Thursday (Nov. 15), EW reports. She'll perform "State of Grace," the latest track from her chart-topping album "Red," on television for the first time.

Swift will also be part of ABC's "New Year's Rockin' Eve" celebration, according to host Ryan Seacrest. He tweeted the following Friday: "Confirmed: @TaylorSwift13 will perform on New Years Rockin' Eve! Unconfirmed: Who she'll kiss at midnight."
