'Newsroom' adds Patton Oswalt, Rosemarie DeWitt to Season 2 cast

Rosemarie DeWitt and Patton Oswalt have signed on for recurring roles in Season 2 of HBO's divisive Aaron Sorkin drama "The Newsroom."

In addition to numerous individual film and TV credits, DeWitt and Oswalt recently co-starred as love interests on Showtime's "United States of Tara." On "Newsroom," DeWitt will play a lawyer on the team defending Atlantis Cable News channel in a wrongful-termination suit and Oswalt will play the network's new VP of Human Resources, according to Deadline.

Season 2 of "The Newsroom" is expected to air sometime in 2013.
