MTV orders another 'Jersey Shore' spinoff, 'The Show with Vinny'

MTV knows we want all the "Jersey Shore" it can give us. Thus, with the end of that hit series, it's time to keep the spinoffs rolling. The newest one? "The Show with Vinny," a reality/talk show starring Vinny Guadagnino.

Yes, Vinny will soon join the ranks of Snooki, JWOWW and Pauly D with his very own show.

Unlike most talk shows, taped decorously in a studio with an audience, "The Show with Vinny" will take place entirely in the Guadagnino family home on Staten Island. With his family present. The guests will just have to put up with the commentary and questioning of Vinny's mom, Paula, and his "party boss" Uncle Nino. As the network describes the show in its press release, this new talk show will consist of "family, food and big friggin' stars."

Actually, that sounds amazing. If they could get some big and/or polite stars on, it would be fantastic to watch the Guadagnino family attack with inappropriate questions and spaghetti dinners.

"Vinny's unique mix of humor, intelligence, curiosity and heart make him the perfect choice for this genre busting take on the interview format," says Chris Linn, MTV's executive vice president of programming.

Although MTV has not yet set a premiere date for this new spinoff, "The Show with Vinny" seems set to join "Snooki & JWOWW" and "The Pauly D Project" in the insidious "Jersey Shore" takeover of the world, one fist pump at a time.
