Martha Stewart is getting into the comedy business.

The lifestyle maven will executive produce a FOX project called "The Tao of Martha," about a woman who decides to clean up her life by following Stewart's example. It's based on an upcoming book by "Bitter Is the New Black" author Jen Lancaster, Deadline reports.

The show will focus on a former party girl whose husband leaves her because he can no longer stand her "chaotic" lifestyle.

Following the jarring news, she decides to pull herself together and become a better example for her daughter by taking cues from Stewart. Think "Julie and Julia" but with a potentially sharper edge.

Stewart isn't expected to appear on screen, though she may provide some voiceover.

Austin Winsberg ("Gossip Girl," "Jake in Progress") will write the pilot script and executive produce with Stewart, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo.
