CNN teases Anthony Bourdain's new series 'Parts Unknown'; he's still mad at Travel Channel

anthony-bourdain-cnn-gi.jpgAnthony Bourdain is no longer associated with the Travel Channel -- give or take a few more episodes of "The Layover" -- and he went out in a blaze of glory.

You may have seen the chef-author-TV host's bridge-burning screed against his former bosses on his Tumblr. That followed a series of, uh, colorful tweets over the cable channel's use of "No Reservations" footage in a Cadillac ad that Bourdain says was done without his knowledge, and definitely without his consent.

It's probably safe to assume such awkward attempts at product placement probably won't show up in his CNN series, which now has a name: "Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown." It's set to premiere in the spring.

CNN has also released a teaser for the show, ahead of Bourdain appearing on "Piers Morgan Tonight" Tuesday (Nov. 13). Take a look:

Will you follow Bourdain to CNN? What do you think of his Travel Channel rant?
