Brendan Fraser leaves TNT pilot 'Legends' over 'creative differences'

TNT is moving forward with its action drama pilot "Legends," but those plans no longer include Brendan Fraser.

The series based on a book by spy novelist Robert Littell would have been Fraser's first series regular role, but apparently the actor ran into "creative differences" with showrunner Howard Gordon ("Homeland"). Deadline reports that the studio behind the project, Fox 21, has offered Fraser a development deal for a future project.

Now TNT will recast the role of Martin Odum, an undercover agent with an unparalleled ability to completely transform his identity for every new job.
