'Bones' preview: Cyndi Lauper returns for the show's 150th episode

"Bones" is about to reach a rare milestone in the TV world: the 150th episode. Of course, there is a big case to go along with this accomplishment. Cyndi Lauper will return as the psychic Avalon Harmonia in order to help solve the heartbreaking and difficult murder at the center of "The Ghost in the Machine."

The case begins when the Jeffersonian investigates remains found inside an abandoned greenhouse.


The remains turn out to belong to a young boy.


Angela (Michaela Conlin) brings in Avalon Harmonia to help with the case.


Avalon thinks that the boy's spirit has not yet "crossed over" and that she can help with that.


Meanwhile, Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) follow the investigation to the dark location where the victim's body was originally dumped.


Will the Jeffersonian team solve the murder? Will the psychic's assistance prove to be helpful? We will find out the answer to those questions when "The Ghost in the Machine" airs on Monday, Dec. 3 at 8pm on FOX.
