Angus T. Jones 'likely' to leave 'Two and a Half Men' - could Miley Cyrus replace him?
If there's an 11th season of "Two and a Half Men" in 2013-14, Angus T. Jones may not be a part of it. But one of the show's guest stars this season might be, according to a report.Citing a source "close to the show," E! Online reports Jones will "likely" depart the CBS comedy when his contract ends after this season. His role has already been reduced some this season -- even before he begged viewers to stop watching in a video earlier this week. His character, Jake, is in the Army, and Jones has not appeared in every episode so far this season.
(His co-stars, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, also don't have deals beyond this season. Given the show's still very strong ratings, re-upping the stars will likely be pretty pricey.)
If Jones does leave "Two and a Half Men," the show may have a replacement already in mind: Miley Cyrus, who has guest-starred on a pair of episodes this season as a romantic interest for Jake.
"There are talks to replace Angus and the perfect person would be Miley Cyrus," an "insider" tells Celebuzz. "... One possibility is that she could easily be written into the show to go to college."
Cyrus played Missi, a family friend of Walden's who came to Los Angeles for a visit. If Cyrus were to replace Jones, it's possible a title change would be in order -- although "Two Guys and a Girl" has already been taken.
