Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to host Golden Globes 2013

Proving that sometimes, good things happen to good people (and by good people, we mean the general American viewing public, so we know that's a stretch) -- Amy Poehler and Tina Fey have been tapped to host the 2013 Golden Globe Awards ceremony. Together.

We're just mad we didn't think of it first!

NBC announced late Monday that their two "Saturday Night Live" alums turned queens of comedy will do the honors of hosting the 70th annual show this January.

"Having both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on board to host this year's festivities is a major coup," said Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC Entertainment. "Tina and Amy have a proven chemistry and comedic timing from their many years together on SNL to their successful co-starring roles in 'Baby Mama.'"
