'The X Factor's' Britney Spears: 'It's so embarrassing' when 'nobody agrees with me'!

Zap2it: How are you dealing with making judgments of contestants on "The X Factor" that seem to go against what the audience is thinking?

Britney Spears: It's so embarrassing! You're like, "Why are people not liking me right now?" Sometimes I don't feel like somebody has potential, and nobody agrees with me. It's happened probably four or five times.

Zap2it: Do you get the sense that, with you and Demi Lovato on board now, "The X Factor" feels like a new show to those who were there last season?

Britney Spears: I feel like it brings a whole new energy to the show, definitely. I think Nicole [Scherzinger] and Paula [Abdul] were really great, so to have such a dramatic change like that, I'll bet it even made Simon [Cowell] and L.A. [Reid] nervous.

Zap2it: You certainly know about drawing attention, and that seems to go with the territory for celebrity judges on television competitions. Did you come into this ready for that?

Britney Spears: Well, I hope I'm ready. I'm just taking it one day at a time.

Zap2it: Was being able to stay in one place with your children, except for traveling to the auditions, a big consideration for you in doing "The X Factor"?

Britney Spears: Yeah, it did come into play ... but when I'm working, my children stay with their father until I come home. We just have this whole balanced way of doing things, and it just kind of works out.
