'Sons of Anarchy' adds Dave Navarro to the gang

Musician Dave Navarro is joining up with "Sons of Anarchy" for a guest arc at the end of Season 5.

According to EW, Navarro will play a member of the Byz Lats gang who has a history with Nero Padilla (Jimmy Smits). He's set to appear in the final two episodes of the season.

If the name "Byz Lats" sounds familiar, it's the same name of a gang that Vic Mackey and Co. tussled with on "The Shield," where "Sons" creator Kurt Sutter was a long-time writer and producer. (The name was also referenced in "Shield" creator Shawn Ryan's show "The Unit.")

Viewers will also get a taste of Navarro's music later on in the season: The Jane's Addiction cover of "Sympathy for the Devil" will be featured in the finale.
