'Psych' scoop: Ally Sheedy reprising Yang in musical special

Ally Sheedy is bringing the crazy back to "Psych"!

USA confirms that the "Breakfast Club" star will reprise her role as Yang in the epic two-hour musical special, currently filming in Santa Barbara Vancouver.

Star Dulé Hill spilled the news today (Oct. 3), tweeting a mysterious photo of the actress on set.

"YANG!!!!!!!!!" writes the erstwhile Burton "Sh'Dynasty" Guster, hashtagging "AllySheedy" and "PsychMusical."

Mr. Yang, believed to be a deranged serial killer, tormented Shawn (James Roday) and Gus over three seasons. In Sheedy's last appearance, "Psych's" fifth-season finale, it was revealed that she was only assisting the real killer -- her father, Mr. Yin (Peter Weller).

We can't begin to imagine how Yang will be involved the musical episode. Sheedy joins previously announced guest stars Barry Bostwick, who plays the womanizing owner of the theater staging a musical production (which we believe is called "Ripper!"), Brooke Lyons and Anthony Rapp.
