Louis C.K. will host 'Saturday Night Live'
"Saturday Night Live" has booked Louis C.K. as the host of its next original episode. The Emmy-winning creator/star of "Louie" and one of the hottest stand-up comedians in the world at the moment will host "SNL" on Nov. 3, per a teaser aired during Saturday's (Oct. 20) episode. It marks something of a return to the show for C.K., who worked as a writer on a bunch of Robert Smigel's "Saturday TV Funhouse" segments in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
It will be, however, his first credited time on camera at "Saturday Night Live" -- although C.K.'s IMDB page lists an uncredited cameo as "escaped prisoner" in a 1995 episode hosted by Chevy Chase.
The musical guest for Nov. 3 is Fun.
How do you think Louis C.K. will do as an "SNL" host?
