'Daily Show with Jon Stewart' and 'The Colbert Report' resume live episodes

"The Daily Show" and "The Colbert Report" are coming back to a Comedy Central station near you with new episodes. After having to miss two days of their programming because of Hurricane Sandy, both late night shows are returning just in time for Halloween.

The Hollywood Reporter has the news, though it's unclear if "The Daily Show" and "Colbert" will be forced to tape in front of empty audiences like "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" have both had to. It definitely would be a challenge we're interested in seeing both comedians face.

Be sure to expect plenty of Frankenstorm jokes when both return. A lot has happened in the past couple days, but we also hope Stewart and Colbert take the time to comment on the fact Disney is acquiring Lucasfilm. That new partnership is still blowing our minds.
