'Community' Season 4 teaser isn't quite as good as a new episode but we'll take it

Troy and Abed in the moooorning! Or the afternoon. Or sometime, just not on Oct. 19 anymore. Who knows when "Community" will give us another episode of the fictional talk show? Certainly not the cast, who banded together to film a delightful video treat for fans who were excited for the Season 4 premiere before NBC pushed the show to scheduling purgatory.

Donald Glover and Danny Pudi, in character as Troy and Abed, tell fans that although "Troy and Abed in the Morning" won't premiere on Oct. 19 as planned, don't worry. Whenever their little show finally gets a new airdate, whether in the fall or the spring, it will be Oct. 19 -- in our hearts.

In case you didn't get it, they're talking about "Community," y'all.

The rest of the ever-appreciative "Community" cast is there (in character) too. The video was made as a thank you to their fans, and was actually Gillian Jacobs' idea (says Yvette Nicole Brown on Twitter).
