Barack Obama booked for 'The Daily Show' on Oct. 18: Will Big Bird come up?

president-obama-daily-show.jpgLike most of the media, Jon Stewart had some harsh words about President Barack Obama's performance in the Oct. 4 Presidential debate. Now Stewart will get a chance to address Obama directly when the President stops by "The Daily Show" on Oct. 18.

The next debate is scheduled for two days earlier, Tuesday, Oct. 16, so it's possible Obama will have "redeemed" himself before the sit-down, but we're sure Stewart won't be afraid to bring it up.

It's no secret Stewart and "The Daily Show" lean to the left, and this will mark Obama's sixth appearance on Comedy Central's Emmy magnet. Obama's last chat with Stewart aired Oct. 27, 2010. His first was Nov. 7, 2005, nearly a year and a half before announcing his candidacy for President.

Obama's TV rounds this election season have also included "The Late Show with David Letterman" and "The View."
