'American Horror Story: Asylum': Season 2 art brings dual natures to mind

james-cromwell-american-horror-story-season-2-asylum.jpg"American Horror Story" has released new gallery art for Season 2, subtitled "Asylum," which features all the main characters being distorted -- for us, it definitely calls to mind an idea of sanity vs. insanity, which is the theme of the season, and possible split personalities.

Not that everyone has dissociative identity disorder or something, but that everyone has a dual nature. Perhaps a good side and an evil side? Or in some of the characters' cases, a crazy side and a sane side?

It's fun to speculate, for certain. We also find it interesting that Adam Levine as Leo has a picture, but his counterpart in the opening five minutes that have been released, Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Teresa, does not have one. Innnteresting.

"American Horror Story" Season 2 returns Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX. And we've seen the premiere, which is great, so here are some juicy things to look forward to if you need something to tide you over.
