'Vegas' series premiere: Are you all in on CBS' new drama? Vote now!

michael-chiklis-dennis-quaid-vegas-premiere-poll.jpg"Vegas" premiered Tuesday night (Sept. 25) on CBS, a new crime drama starring Dennis Quaid as the reluctant sheriff of Las Vegas in the 1960s, when the town is just starting to turn from a ranching community to the glitzy gambling haven it has become. Michael Chiklis is a mobster looking to make his fortune in the town by taking over the Savoy, a casino leaking money.

The show appears to be trying to strike a balance between on-going tension with its two male leads and more procedural case-of-the-week plotlines, which kick off in the pilot when the governor's niece is found murdered in the desert.

The leads are infinitely likable and we think if the show can perhaps find a "Good Wife"-type balance between the overarching plots and the weekly mysteries, instead of getting too heavy into weeklies, like a primitive "CSI," "Vegas" could be very successful.

What did you think of the first episode? Will you be tuning in again to watch Quaid and Chiklis go head to head in Sin City? Vote below!
