TV ratings: CBS and 'Big Brother' lead a quiet Sunday
Fast National ratings for Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012The long Labor Day weekend pushed down ratings for the broadcast networks across the board Sunday, with CBS coming out on top thanks to "60 Minutes" and "Big Brother." The latter was down from recent performances but scored the night's best adults 18-49 numbers.
(Note: Household ratings and shares for Sunday night weren't available as of posting time.)
CBS drew 4.9 million viewers in primetime to lead the way. NBC (3.1 million) came in second. FOX (2.4 million) edged ABC (2.3 million) for third place.
FOX snagged the lead among adults 18-49, albeit with only a modest 1.1 rating. CBS posted a 0.9 in the demographic, followed by NBC, 0.8, and ABC, 0.4.

NBC: "Dateline" (3.25 million)
