The lineup of premieres on CBS helped the Eye to a big win Thursday night, led by the "Big Bang Theory" premiere, which was the top show of the night. Interestingly, NBC's comedy block, which started off soft a week ago, saw a boost of almost one million viewers this week, even being up against new shows on both CBS and ABC.

The ABC premieres of "Last Resort," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal" also opened to solid numbers, while "The X Factor" saw a loss of 700,000 viewers.

CBS won the night with 13.8 million viewers and an 8.5 rating/14 share in households, followed by FOX at 9.2 million, 5.4/9, ABC at 9.08 million, 5.8/9, NBC at 4.94 million, 3.2/5 and the CW at 727,000, 0.5/1.
