'The Vampire Diaries' Season 4 premiere pics: Klaus plays Tyler, Elena and Stefan get locked up -- and where's Damon?

With "The Vampire Diaries" Season 4 premiere just four weeks away The CW has finally released the rest of the photos from the episode, titled "Growing Pains."

The pics -- which we've posted below -- show that while Caroline and Klaus may not get up to too much funny business while he's in Tyler's body, there's some definite canoodling going on in their usual spot in the woods. (Way to ruin a romantic location by getting all evil in it, Klaus!)

Later, the pair join Bonnie and Jeremy at the witch house -- and judging by the blood on her nose, they're not exactly having your usual after-school hang-out session. And is it just us, or does it seem like Bonnie and Jeremy's old chemistry might be returning? He certainly looks awfully protective of her.

Of course, that could just be his concern for his sister showing through. After all, Elena and Stefan have been locked up by some unknown baddies -- whether it's the Founders' Council, the new hunter in town, or just some concerned friends, we don't know yet. Meanwhile, it's safe to say that Elena's not the only vamp in town having a terrible day -- being coated with blood and grime isn't exactly Rebekah's best look, either.

These photos leave us with just one very important question. Where the heck is Damon??
