Only Phil Keoghan, nominated four times in the Emmy competition for reality host, has yet to win the individual trophy for greeting racers on the finishers mat with his signature raised brow.

The CBS competition, created by Elise Doganieri and Bertram van Munster, launched in 2001. It features two-person teams racing around the world for a million dollars.

That prize will be doubled, to 2 million dollars, for the 21st season, which premieres this fall.

Season 21 of "The Amazing Race" debuts Sunday, Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
