Ryan Seacrest: Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey 'get along fine,' but never a dull moment

Ryan Seacrest stopped by "Today" Tuesday morning (Sept. 18) to chit chat about the new panel of judges on "American Idol." He made sure to deny that there is any sort of feud already brewing between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

"Nicki and Mariah -- two very different strong, powerful, successful women on the panel. There are not too many dull moments between the two of them, but at the end of the day we all hug and go home," says Seacrest. "They get along fine, but they're strong and candid in their opinions."

Then he laughs and adds of Keith Urban and Randy Jackson -- "Those two will not share a mirror, I'll tell you that." Heh. We like the idea of Randy and Keith being the "divas."

When asked who the tough judge is, Seacrest says they're all pretty tough.

"Interestingly, there's not one that is the tough judge. They're not so sugar-coated when it comes to what they're saying. They are saying it with heart, but they're very honest. Not putting through as many people as you would think," says Seacrest.
