'Revenge' Season 2: Michael Trucco heads to the Hamptons

There's another new guy coming to the Hamptons in Season 2 of "Revenge."

"Battlestar Galactica" alumnus Michael Trucco is joining the ABC drama in a recurring part, TVLine reports. He'll play the brother of fellow "Revenge" newcomer J.R. Bourne.

How the two brothers will connect to Emily (Emily VanCamp) or the rest of the show remains to be seen. Based on the character descriptions for both men, though, they're not just there to relax on the beach. Bourne's character, Kenny, is described as having some "rough edges," while Trucco's Nate is charismatic but also "slightly menacing."

Trucco, who also starred on USA's "Fairly Legal," will next be seen in several episodes of "How I Met Your Mother"  as Robin's (Cobie Smulders) boyfriend. His time on that show should wrap before he pops up on "Revenge," which premieres at 9 p.m. ET Sunday (Sept. 30) on ABC.
