McKayla Maroney sticks 'Hart of Dixie': Gold medalist to guest star as Rose's pal

Fresh off the news that Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas will guest star in the seventh episode of "The Vampire Diaries" this season, another member of the fab fierce fantastic five has landed a CW gig.

Apparently, McKayla Maroney is totally impressed by Rachel Bilson and the rest of the gang on "Hart of Dixie." Maroney is set to film a cameo in Burbank-slash-Bluebell on Wednesday, Sept. 26.

She'll play Tonya, a friend of Rose's (McKaley Miller) who comes to Rose's defense. We're sure the episode's director will have a great time with McKaley and McKayla -- and it won't get confusing at all. Just playin'!

"Hart of Dixie" returns for Season 2 this Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. EST.
