Jimmy Kimmel plans Emmy prank for 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards broadcast
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is coming to primetime Sunday as the host for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. And he tells Access Hollywood he will pull a massive prank during the show. "I can't really say what it's gonna be, but it will be a big deal. That's all I'll say," says Kimmel, adding, "There will be a lot of people involved in it."
He also relays a funny anecdote about his lack of television access growing up.
"It's funny - I grew up and I didn't have a television set, and now, I said [to my kids], 'Are you going to watch me on the Emmys?' - they're in college - and they said, 'We don't have a TV set. They watch everything on their computer now. We've really come full circle!" says Kimmel.
The Emmy Awards air live Sunday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on ABC.
