F. Murray Abraham joins 'Homeland'

F. Murray Abraham has been cast in Season 2 of "Homeland," EW reports.

Abraham, who won an Oscar for "Amadeus" and has recently guested on "The Good Wife" as a simpering L.A. attorney -- is playing CIA intelligence operative Dar Adul. He joins other new cast members Roya Hammad (Zuleikha Robinson), a journalist with whom Brody (Damian Lewis) forms an uneasy alliance, and Rupert Friend as CIA agent Peter Quinn -- who is both handsome and heroic. "Homeland" returns to Showtime Sunday, Sept. 30 at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
