'Will & Grace' reunion on 'Smash' Season 2: Sean Hayes lands multi-episode arc

Sean Hayes, best known for playing Jack McFarland on NBC's "Will & Grace," will be reuniting with his former co-star Debra Messing for Season 2 of "Smash." The network announced Monday (Aug. 13) that Hayes has landed a multi-episode guest spot on the musical series as comedic television and film star Terrence Falls.

On the show, Falls is making his Broadway debut in the musical "Liaisons," based on the novel "Les Liaisons Dangereuses." Per NBC: "Due to a series of comic circumstances, he becomes a major thorn in the side for Ivy Lynn (Megan Hilty) and other characters."

So will Messing and Hayes share any screen time? We'll have to wait and see.

Hayes will also make a guest appearance in a multi-episode arc on NBC's "Up All Night" as Ava's (Maya Rudolph) former accompanist.
