'Revenge' spoilers and trailer: Will Season 2 begin with a wedding?

As August inches along, we're all about escaping these last days of summer heat to hole up inside and painstakingly dissect every single promotional clip released for our favorite fall series -- starting with "Revenge." The ABC sudser ended with a handful of major cliffhangers last spring, and we've been salivating for some new footage.

Now we've got it. This brand new "Revenge" promo gives us a brief recap of Season 1 -- and a few shocking images from Season 2. Emily's all tied up... and underwater, after threatening someone's life in her search for more information about her father's death (and/or her crazy mom's disappearance).

Last winter, executive producer Mike Kelley teased that Season 2 would begin with a marriage. "Well, you know how we opened up season one with the engagement party? I can tell you that [for] Season 2 we are looking at opening with a flash forward to a wedding, to Emily's wedding. We just don't know to who. Well, I know who, but you don't," he said.

Of course, his plans may have changed between February and actually writing the Season 2 premiere.
