'Once Upon a Time': Colin O'Donoghue cast as Captain Hook

Irish actor Colin O'Donoghue ("The Rite") is set to play Captain Hook in "Once Upon a Time's" sophomore season, Deadline reports.

The villainous pirate captain, whose character was teased at the "OUAT" Comic-Con panel this summer, will make his debut in the fourth episode of ABC's fairy-tale drama.

O'Donoghue's TV credits also include a stint on "The Tudors," the Showtime period drama that also featured "OUAT's" new Princess Aurora, Sarah Bolger.

"Once Upon a Time" returns to ABC Sunday, Sept. 30.
