'Glee' will cover 'Call Me Maybe' in Season 4 premiere
The inevitable is official: "Glee" will take on Carly Rae Jepsen's summer hit "Call Me Maybe" when the FOX show returns for Season 4. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Sept. 13 premiere will feature the New Directions covering the song. The episode, called "The New Rachel," will follow the characters after Season 3's graduation thinned the glee club's ranks significantly.

The "Glee" cast members probably weren't surprised when they got their song assignments. Darren Criss said during the show's Comic-Con panel in July that he fully anticipated someone having to cover the Jepsen earworm.
Jepsen herself will appear on the small screen during the fall TV premiere season. She's performing during the "90210" Season 5 premiere, although she won't be singing her big hit. (New Carly Rae, 'y'all! Get excited!)
