'The Office' adds Jake Lacy as Dunder Mifflin's newest hire

jake-lacy-the-office-gi.jpgDunder Mifflin is getting another new hire: "The Office" has signed former "Better With You" star Jake Lacy as its newest series regular for Season 9.

According to TVLine, Lacy is joining the cast along with fellow newbie Clark Duke. Lacy was formerly one of the leads in FOX's midseason comedy "The Goodwin Games," but was recast with T.J. Miller. Good thing he found another show that was hiring.

Mindy Kaling is leaving the series as she heads to her own FOX sitcom, "The Mindy Project" -- though she'll stick around for at least a few episodes. B.J. Novak and Paul Lieberstein are leaving as well, and Rainn Wilson could have his own spinoff.

There are no details on the new characters just yet, but one thing's for sure -- the "Office" landscape will look very different in Season 9.
