Simon Cowell on 'American Idol' judge Mariah Carey: 'She's going to find it difficult to say no'

Mariah Carey was announced as the brand new "American Idol" judge Monday (July 23). During the "X Factor" panel at the Television Critics Association press tour, Simon Cowell was asked about the newest addition to "Idol.""I'm happy for her, actually. I like Mariah," says Cowell. "I think she's going to find it difficult to say no. You've gotta say no to people. She's sweet."
"But I think she'll be great," he continues. "I got wind of this last week, so I kind of knew it was going to happen. But I'm happy for her."
