Katie Couric looks back at her idyllic childhood in new 'Katie' promo
Beloved "Today" show and "CBS Evening News" anchor Katie Couric won't be away from TV for too much longer -- her new syndicated talk show, "Katie," premieres on September 10. Check out the latest promo for the program, during which Couric looks back at her idyllic childhood.
"I had a real 'Leave it to Beaver' childhood," Couric says. "We lived in a modest house and we didn't take fancy vacations. I cannot imagine having a better childhood."
Katie Couric -- woman of the people! You'll be able to relate to the talk show host even more when she adorably discusses her mom and dad. "My parents gave me the confidence to take risks and to try new things. They were always there to catch me when I fell," she says.
"Katie" will feature interviews with everyone from celebrities to everyday folks with extraordinary stories, and will film in front of a live studio audience in New York City.
