'Hell on Wheels' Season 2 teaser: Bohannon is still on a mission
The tagline in this promo for Season 2 of "Hell on Wheels" reads, "Still fighting ... still searching ... still raising hell."
That would imply that even though Bohannon (Anson Mount) left the railroad camp at the end of the show's first season, he's far from finished with his quest to find and punish those responsible for killing his wife and son.
The teaser is short on plot, but it does feature a healthy dose of violence and several threats of gunplay, along with a couple lines freighted with religious overtones. "What do you suppose the Lord's gonna think about a man like me?" Bohannon asks, maybe referring to the fact that he killed an innocent man in last season's finale. Later in the teaser, we're promised that "it will be apocalyptic."
Also: Bohannon's hair -- still apparently unwashed.
"Hell on Wheels" premieres at 9 p.m. ET Sunday, Aug. 12 on AMC. What do you think of the teaser?
