Comic-Con 2012: 'The Walking Dead' sets Oct. 14 premiere date
Fans of zombie-pocalypse drama crowded into the massive Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center on Friday (July 13) to get the first look at "The Walking Dead's" Season 3 trailer and find out firsthand when the show will return to AMC: Sunday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. And U.S. fans won't be the only ones getting their zombie dose -- the episode will debut worldwide throughout the week, according to showrunner Glen Mazzara.
The clip debuted during a panel that brought stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus and Sarah Wayne Callies to Comic-Con, along with showrunners Mazzara, Gale Anne Hurd and Robert Kirkman.
Also on hand, executive producer Dave Alpert promised a faster pace in the new season with more zombies.
"Walkers will be decomposed and hungry and there will be a lot of them," said Alpert.
"The intensity level is incredible," added Hurd.
