Comic-Con 2012: Daniel Tosh removing 'rape' storyline from pilot - report
Comedian Daniel Tosh has a new animated series, "Brickleberry," debuting at Comic-Con 2012 Friday night (July 13). But apparently it's undergoing a bit of a makeover before it premieres. According to RumorFix, producers and editors are scrambling to remove references to rape from the pilot in the wake of Tosh's "rape joke" that he made at a heckler a week ago during a stand-up set because the backlash has been heavy.
A source says, "Everyone is freaking out, because most of the pilot is about rape."
In case you missed it, last Friday (July 6) at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles, Tosh responded to a heckler with, "Wouldn't it be funny if that girl got raped by like, five guys right now? Like right now? What if a bunch of guys just raped her..."
Tosh has since apologized for the joke.
