'American Horror Story' Season 2 adds Clea Duvall

It seems like Clea Duvall should have been on "American Horror Story" way before now, right fans? But the "Carnivale" alum is coming to the East Coast mental institution for Season 2 of the popular FX drama, reports TV Line.

There are no details yet as to Duvall's character, but a source says she will be filming scenes with Sarah Paulson's character. Paulson's character has also been kept under wraps -- she's returning from Season 1, where she played psychic Billie Dean Howard.

Duvall joins a cavalcade of stars for Season 2 of "American Horror Story." Returning from Season 1 are Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Zachary Quinto, Lily Rabe and Sarah Paulson, plus newcomers to the show James Cromwell, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, Joseph Fiennes and Lizzie Brochere.

"American Horror Story" returns in the fall of 2012.
